Bryce began running a fever yesterday around noon and it has spiked to 101.7. Clinic said his lungs sounded amazingly clear, his nose and throat look good. He isn't gassy or acting like his stomach hurts. They did a FLU and RSV swap on him just to make sure it's not the beginning of either one. They said that they are pretty confident that it's not one of them so they did not prescribe him any antibiotics.
We are just going to let the fever run it's course and monitor it with motrin and Tylenol. Dr. Franks is on call this weekend, she is not with the CF clinic but we have seen her in hospital. I LOVE her. So our team is going to make her aware of Bryce's situation.
Today is the first day in a long time that Bryce is not wanting to eat. Luckily, we have the g-tube to give him some calories. I didn't force much on him because I don't want him to start thinking that he doesn't have to eat and he can just get full by us pushing it through the tube.
On a positive note, Bryce had his first slice of pizza last night. We didn't give it to him, he actually stole it from my mom while she was eating it. Seriously, he took it out of her hands, then gummed the whole slice.

He is so cute...especially taking on that big slice of pizza! Hope he starts feeling better soon!
